Homecare - Administrative Medical Assistant (Full Time)

Location: 986 Tibbetts Wick Rd, Girard, OH 44420

Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The responsibilities of our Administrative Medical Assistants include:

• Triage calls from patients, families, physician offices, and more
• Answer general information questions and deliver messages
• Work with the Clinical Managers with day to day operations
• Work with labs to complete billing claims
• Assist Clinical Manager in scheduling Home Health Aide visits
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Medical Background preferred
• Must have High School education
• Must have a minimum of six months office experience
• Must possess typing and clerical skills
• Must have a criminal background check

Job Conditions:

• At times, there are deadlines that must be met
• It is primarily a desk position which involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking
• This position requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts
• The ability to read 12 point and larger type is required
• One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English
• Must be able to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment
