Job Description

TPMG is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in South Sacramento. Position Highlights

1. Team Composition : after this hire 9 surgeons (3 Hand/Shoulder/Elbow, 2 Total Joint (hips/knees), 2 Sports, 2 Trauma)
2. Collaborative Model : Work closely with 2 experienced Physician Assistants and dedicated specialized Surgical Assistants
3. Surgical Focus : Upper Extremity, both elective and non-elective. Hand/elbow/shoulder expertise HIGHLY desired
4. OR Time : eventual goal 2 days per week
5. Call Schedule : 1 in 9 (Level 2 community trauma)

1. Dedicated trauma room time available staffed by Trauma Orthopedic Surgeons to place cases picked up on call the next day or later

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $640,200 to $660,000 plus additional potential incentives up to $83,270 . Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
